President's Welcome
Welcome to eC3’s home on the web! For more than a decade, the National Electronic Commerce Coordinating council, eC3, has brought together national organizations, public sector leaders and private sector executives to create intellectual property, and identify best practices to affect strategic change within government.
I believe that by working together, we can dramatically improve the identification and adoption of best practices that will enhance and improve governments at all levels..
I hope you will find some interesting information on our website including a history of our organization, our white papers, and current projects we have underway. I encourage you to peruse our publications archive. Many of eC3’s white papers have been noted by national leaders and publications as definitive sources of information about the evolution of electronic government into its current cross-boundary environment.
As our thinking continues to evolve, we continue to look for new and emerging issues for eC3 to work on. If you have any ideas, I encourage you to share them with us. I also encourage you to get involved with eC3. Time is a precious commodity but I know that you will find spending time with eC3 time well spent.
