The third group is “Identity Infrastructure.” This group is looking to the future of identity functions in the U.S. and around the globe, updating previous work done by EC3, and anticipating what should and will be done over the next several years to create a trustworthy, secure identity infrastructure that will meet the functional requirements and privacy needs of government and non-government users and relying parties. This group will include work on policy, process and technology looking well beyond current work in Government to outline the interesting, the successful and the failing approaches for the future.
