The National Electronic Commerce Coordinating Council proudly announces the Cost Effectiveness through e-government Awards for 2003. All governments face greater and greater budget pressure. Technology projects maximizing revenue and providing cost savings should be recognized as innovative and crucially important to effective government. Great results should be highlighted for others to replicate. This NECCC award recognizes exemplary state and local e-government technology projects providing quantifiable revenue increases, cost decreases, and which cross multiple organization boundaries affecting multiple stakeholder groups.
