David F. Ancell has been the Director of the Office of Purchasing in Michigan since February, 1999. David is a current Board Member of the National Association of State Purchasing Officials (NASPO) and is a member of the Governing Board of the National Electronic Coordinating Commerce Council. Prior to his current position, he worked for 26 years in several areas of Iowa Government, including the Departments of Public Health, Inspections and Appeals, Elder Affairs and General Services. David is a graduate of Iowa State University.
