Each year the eC3 produces
several issue papers and a white paper, all of which are presented at the
annual conference. Workgroup issue papers from 2000 - 2003 and white papers from each
eC3 Symposium are available for downloading. In
2002, eC3 published a book of essays entitled, 21st Century
Government: A Primer on Technology for Public Officials. The
book, which was written by eC3 board members and other leaders in
e-government from both the public and private sectors, is available
for sale on this Web site. In
2003, eC3 published a second book of essays entitled, 21st
Century Government: A Guide to Cross Boundary Collaboration.
The essays, which were written by eC3 board members and friends,
describe how cross boundary cooperation helps public institutions work
more effectively at less cost. The primary purpose of the book is to
offer innovative technology-based approaches that government
leaders are using to reduce operating costs, improve services and
provide critical real time management information to policy makers and
the citizens they serve. This book is also available for sale on
this Web site.
